Cloud computing uses networks of large groups Of servers typically running low-cost consumer PC technology with specialized connections to spread data-processing chores across them. This shared IT infrastructure contains large pools of systems that are linked together.
Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. These services are broadly divided into three categories: Infrastructure as a Service (alas), Platform as a service (Pass) and Software as a Service (AAAS). A cloud service has three distinct characteristics that differentiate it from traditional hosting. It is sold on demand usually by the minute or the hour, it IS elastic, for example a user can have as much or as little of a service as they want at any given time, and the service is fully managed by the provider because the consumer only needs a arsenal computer and Internet access.

Because the service provider hosts both the application and the data, the end user is free to use the service from anywhere. Software as a service refers to software delivered over a browser. AAAS eliminates the need to install and run applications on the customer’s own computers/servers and simplifies maintenance, upgrades and support. Application delivery is typically closer to a one-to-many model (single instance, multi-tenant architecture) than to a one-to-one model.
Two types of AAAS would include Business Utility AAAS and Social Networking AAAS. Business Utility applications like Salesrooms automation are used by businesses and individuals for managing and collecting data. Popular use cases are Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Resources and Accounting. Social Networking applications for example Faceable, are used by individuals for networking and sharing information, photos, videos, etc. Currently work for Junior ASSAI, a chemical distributor.
Most of business is handled through the Internet. Orders can be placed online, our products and services are also available on line. Cloud computing plays a major role at mum current position as a Buyer. At Univac I do most communications via Email. All my task and also most of everyone’s as well are done with a computer. I am to place reorders a daily basis which are pulled from our system LAX and then sent to vendors via email. L. XV can be access through any laptop with company access to the system.
JIVE stores all the information for our business such as inventory count, vendor and customer information and all billing is all done through our system without it we would be unable to perform our everyday tasks so efficiently. VEX stores this information and makes it easier to perform our tasks by letting us know how much inventory is on hand at any given time. JIVE stores and computes all of our business data. All communication is done via email because it is easier and more efficient. I keep files for everyone of my vendors and customers with confirmations and email discussions.
I can access all this information from either a laptop or any smart device with internet access. As a student at Robert Morris University I also find myself using some king of cloud computing. We use Black Board to facilitate our tasks. Black Board lets us view our classes which include assignments, group communications, blobs and much more. Students also register online and again all this can be done through the internet. Cloud computing is all around us and plays a major role in web applications and business systems such as LAX.
