In the third scenario you are a student representative on the Judicial board at your college and the student who found the pod in the classroom is accused of stealing. Did the student know or believe it belonged to another student in the class?

Did the student really believe it was their right to keep the pod because they found it laying under a chair? Did they do anything to find the rightful owner of the pod? Did they truly believe it was not considered stealing to keep the pod? Did anyone else know that they kept the pod without trying to find the winner? Did they get advice from another student about keeping the pod or turning it into the lost and found? These are some questions that need to be answered before you could make a correct and fair decision regarding this situation.

You must take into consideration that some young people today are not raised with the same moral and ethical beliefs about always trying to do the right thing in every situation. As part of the Judicial board you have a moral obligation to look at the situation from the point of view of all parties involved in order to make a fair, impartial and ethical session regarding the pod.
