The sacrament of matrimony, which we are going to witness today as Aaron and Ingrain confer this sacrament of union on one another, exalts and makes divine the human love which is the noblest element in our lives. Once Aaron and Ingrain are united wrought this Sacrament, they will no longer love each other merely as human beings. Their love will be transfigured and will participate in God’s own love. This love which attracts them to each other and urges them to give up themselves for each others sake will be made divine.
Let us all, therefore, rejoice on this day with Aaron and Ingrain that the Lord have made for them. Let us all Pray at this mass that the Joy that is theirs today may remains with them and accompany them all the days of their lives.
