Usually it discharged from the factory and transportation our air was contaminated with carbon monoxide and the condition was bad. Next, used of harmful chemicals to increase the fertilization of plants in the agriculture activity. As a result, nitrogen oxide to be release into the air which cause the greenhouse effect. Therefore, we must create the ways to prevent this problems and do practices since primary school to expose to the school children.
The adjectives to expose this issue to the school children is to educate them about the important of preventing the cause of global warming in this world. Beside of that one of the adjectives is to implementing cares about global warming problems among the school children. Next, this Echo-Literacy rooftop also can be a good thermal insulation and provide extra opportunity to engage children with nature. It promotes minimization of waste through resources efficiency.
REUSE The concept of ‘Reuse’ is mean by the installation of second-hand windows and doors that have been salvaged from damaged, nearby the demolition or construction places project. Children will learn how to appreciate the reuse things that others may regard as a waste materials. Incorporating reclaimed materials in school design able to engage the sense of touch or sentimental value in children learning’s. However it dependent on how the children decorate or create their own creation to be creative in their imagination and finding a new ways of application for discarded items. RECYCLE The concept of ‘Recycle’ is implemented by establishing the shelf like wall. Then the shelf will inserted with bottles or aluminum cans temporarily before these items sent to the recycling places.
Besides that, the shelf will look like an ‘art-board’ and its unique. This shelf served in every class at school. Wall cassettes that will creates a colorful light when the sun-rays reflect the light on it and it will impressive everyone. 9 This is on going process that still in research and development activity, however this is one of the brilliant idea. This echo-literacy school is good also to be the main places at the school for the students doing their homework or school activity after the class hour. It serves as a catalyst for future research on the theoretical and practical use of architecture to engage the OR program among the school children.
Global warming can be reducing by many ways. Campaign can be made by patch the poster about global warming around the school and in the class, advertising about global warming on via mass media, social networking and bill board. In addition campaign also can be conducted by given a talk at public place such as public plaza and Arden and school. People can listen and got the information about how danger our earth condition today. In this article, it talked about the campaign that school children is not Just know the how important that their need to know about the global warming but also they can adapt it and contribute to reduce the global warming.
This campaign is participated by all Marin County (California) public and private school with special program for middle and high school students. It can be done through science education, interdisciplinary practices and whole school approaches through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (DUVET) and education on disaster risk reduction. By the improvement policy, analysis, research and planning it can encourage and enhance innovative teaching approaches. 13 For example, in Kenya has carried out the Environmental Education in their country of different sites.
This type of education system that working together with the Site Support Group is introduced to the local communities, school going children and visitors whereby to awareness on the importance of the environment, ecosystem, benefits and the link between the natural resources and sustainable livelihoods among them. Next was to encourage student to walk or cycle to school. This is really relevant owe as the times go through engine vehicle getting cheaper and parent thinks that efficiency is good for their children. We cannot deny the efficiency of it but the bad of it can effects on earth.
The usage of motorcycle or car release CUFF that can lead to global warming. This disaster is worse than we can imagine, Just watch the movie of 2012 and The Day of The Tomorrow do we want that for our future children? So this practice can lessen the risk besides saving our money on fuel. How to spread it in school, maybe by a campaign or lesson in class. Finally the third idea was a subject that the major objective was to create awareness bout climate change and et cetera. This maybe take time to implement as all the leaders need to be in parliament to discuss on certain things such as the syllabus and which subject teacher suitable to teach and things that are appropriates.
We can take example from certain country that already implements this in their education system. If this idea succeeds, for sure it can bring awareness to a new level. In a nutshell, everyone needs to work each other up so the idea can be done. Although our focus only in school but the benefits of it can overhaul all the madness we use to ignore. It starts from our education ministry to the school to play their role in campaigning this and work this up. Hopefully the idea works and do not be Just an idea.
