Air pollution causes health issues but it impacts the Earth on an even larger scale. The greenhouse effect states that carbon dioxide (C02) and superoxide (02) are causing blankets of pollution in the atmosphere which causes more problems than just smog and health problems. There is also indoor pollution which is in some ways more deadly than outdoor pollution, there are about 3. million deaths a year that are caused by Indoor alr pollution. (Michael Graham Richard). The one that impacts the most is Montreal Protocol, which is an International agreement signed by more than 150 countries to limit the production of substances harmful to the stratospheric ozone layer. (NDRC). If you think these reforms don’t make an mpact, in the first 20 years alone of Clean Air Act programs 205,000 premature deaths, 672,000 cases of chronic bronchitis, and 21,000 cases of heart disease have been prevented, all from clean act reforms. EPA). For our Earth to survive our global governments need to Join together to make an impact for future generations.
