In order to be successful at reaching our target market we have to do research on other competitors that are offering this same service in some capacity and find ways to make our product and service better. Our Job is to figure out not only who has a need for our product or service, but also who is most likely to use It. When considering a target market some of the things to consider are how your product or service will fit into your target’s lifestyle. How and when will they use the product? What features are most appealing to them?
These are going to be Important factors In making sure hat your product or service is successful once implanted. Defining your target market is the hard part. Once you know who you are targeting, It Is much easier to figure out ways to reach them. Consider using different means of media such as Faceable, Twitter etc to reach them and create marketing messages will resonate with them. In this way you can begin to send marketing material only to those who fit your criteria. Save money and get a better return on investment by defining your target audience.

(Coot’s portion) By providing a call ahead service at our grocery store. Our customers that have a busy schedule, (target audience: parents, over worked consumers, college students and the elderly) Why these are our chosen target audiences is because we are targeting those who don’t have time to go through a store searching for Items when they have to get home.
As this service will save them time and therefore save them money it will be extremely cost effective for our target audience. Parents will be able o go through the drive through and only take 5 to 10 minutes on the way home and be able to spend more time with their family. Those over worked consumers will be able to get home and have a nice meal instead of rushing through their end of day routine. College students who are studying for finals wont have to take time out of their busy schedule to buy those few things that they need, but depending on how busy the store is could take up to an hour to get.
Based on this information it is clear that no organization has found a solution that completely fulfills the customers’ day to day grocery needs while allowing the company to make a profit. If the service is offered for a fee it will likely only appeal to high-end shoppers and not the common family.. Public is considered a neighborhood rockery store and in keeping with the slogan “where shopping is a pleasure” it would be optimal to develop a plan to offer the Public Personal Shopper program to consumers at little or no cost.
