It shows how God was here first; how he created heavens and earth. It tells me that God is not like man. He is the only one who sits high and looks down low. I totally agree with the results. The results were not a shock at all. Was brought up in the church. Every Sunday we went to church. Being raised by my grandmother put the icing on the cake. We all know that grandmothers can praise the Lord and quote some bible verses you have never came across before. Basically, Christianity was installed in me at an early age. The Webster dictionary description for Christian is “one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ. I use to work inside the school cafeteria and the cafeteria monitor was a pretty decent guy.
He would see me riding the bus home and offer me a ride home from work. I would never forget we began to talk about God. He asked me was a Christian. I replied I’m not sure if I’m a Christian but I believe in God. He then asked, “Do you believe in Jesus and that he died on the cross for our sin? ” I replied, he’s, I believe that God gave his only son to die on the cross for my sin. I believe in the father the son and the holy spirit. ” He said, “Then you a Christian. Being a Christian does not mean your perfect because no one is perfect. That conversation has always stayed with me. From that day forward knew who was as it concerns the Lord. That conversation made me look at things differently. It also made me analyze me and who I was in Gods eye and who soon wanted to be. That conversation taught me that I did not know God and his forgiven character. I only knew the image that society had painted on how things are supposed to be. Now I live my life according to how God would like it to be. I’m not perfect but aim for perfection every day. I have to make it to Heaven!
