Miller 2012) preformed experiments to measure the change in the earth’s tempters over the years. Pentagram’s (2011) believed that global warming led to an increase of disasters like hurricanes, droughts and floods; Sherman (2010) believes global warming was a severe problem. Sherman (2010) people must first look at the global temperature change, secondly people must observe the climatic changes, and lastly people need to forecast the weather trends to get a better understanding of what global warming really is and how we can improve our surroundings.
Swansong (2011), Miller (2012), Pentagram’s 201 1), and Sherman (2010) discussed the global temperature changes. Keywords: global warming climatic changes An Informative Synthesis of Global Warming Global warnings a severe concern that is plague ins our environments and early 20th century the Earths temperature has continued to raise giving merit Sherman (2010) discussed the temperature changes over the years and explained the supporting data. Sherman (2010) stated global atmospheric temperatures rose at an average rate of 0. 6 co per decade” (Sherman, 201 0, p. 1014). To get a better understanding of temperature “first estimate the rent rate of global atmospheric temperature change over the last thirty years to use as our baseline condition” (Sherman, 2010). Next he stated “this data is used to simulate seven temperature futures through the end of the twenty-first century and to estimate how long it might be before those trends become statistically distinct from the current trend” (Sherman, 2010).
Not only did Sherman 2010) talk about atmospheric temperature change ;Pentagram’s (2011 ) agreed on some points but found different results then Sherman (2010) however stated the “Earth’s surface has risen by a little sees than 1 degree Celsius or 1. 3 degrees Fahrenheit” (Pentagram’s, 2011, p. 226). The two authors agreed on how to find future atmospheric temperature they disagreed slightly on what the current average rate of increase was per decade.
Pentagram’s (2011) examined the causes and effects of global warming like heat waves, floods, and droughts stating that “the climate change would increase the number of people suffering from death, disease and injury from heat waves, floods, storms and droughts” (Pentagram’s, 201 1, p. 226). Swansong (2012) delved further into explaining both his and Pentagram’s (2011) theories by explaining the “AMMO” or Atlantic multilateral oscillation theory which stats “when the AMMO index is included as a regresses (I. E. Explanatory variable), the deduced multilateral anthropogenic global warming trend is so impacted that previously deduced anthropogenic warming rates” Occasion, 201 2, p. 3). Both Swansong (2012) and Pentagram’s (2011) both indicated compelling data that illustrated the intensify volcanoes and hurricanes due to global warming. Swansong (2012) explained that ‘Volcano, and solar influences commonly included in the multiple linear regression analysis, the recent 50- and 32-yr anthropogenic warming trends are doubling’ (Swansong, 2012).
Whereas Pentagram’s (2011) described his finding for hurricanes stating “the total annual power of hurricanes has already increased markedly since 1 975 because their average intensity and average duration have increased in addition” (Pentagram’s, 2011 Miller (2012) researched global warming by first researching temporal and spatial scales stating that “temporal scales must be kept in mind, but also spatial scales. Regional or local events may not follow global trends.
In fact, as we have seen with the example of the cold North American winter of 2009-2010, global climate change does not mean globally uniform or invariable change” (Miller, 201 2, p. 225). Miller also went on to discredit some other researches by stating “you must look at a time scale any processes will act only within a particular range of time scales. Thus, any observed trend can only be understood by reference” (Miller, 2012). Swansong (2012) was one of the authors that tried to predict weather patterns or the next two decades which Miller (2012) said was impossible due to changing variables.
In conclusion, almost every article presented the earth’s temperature is rising at a frightening pace and has become a severe issue. The science and research society has done endless research looking at how the potency of hurricanes and volcanoes had intensified more from global warming. The evidence in these journal articles is just the start for the growing demand to understand what our future and how people will be affected by global warming. References Swansong, Z. (2013).
