Many consider global warming to be the largest threat facing the people of Earth, while others view it as nothing more than Liberal propaganda. Both sides have extremely well thought out arguments. According to Environmentalist there is a growing realization that human activities are threatening the health of the natural systems that make life possible on this planet.
While Non-believers claim that you can’t find a real scientist anywhere in the world who can look you in the eye, without hesitation, and say “yes, global warming is real. Whether you believe in global warming or not, you are bound to hear more about it. The theory of global warming itself is an old theory. Since the time of Napoleon, scientist have known about the green house effect- where gases such as carbon dioxide retain heat in the earth ‘s atmosphere, similar to how the glass panes in a greenhouse allow sunlight in but keep heat from escaping.

I myself do not believe that global warming is as big of a problem that scientist say it is. A lot of the facts just don’t add up. For example, one volcanic eruption disperses more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere then man could add from decades of driving. The global temperature is always changing, and there are periods of cooling and periods of warmth. Currently we are in the middle of a period of warmth, that is completely natural with the way the earth works. Global warming is nothing more than fear tactics used by Liberals to gain power.
