It is he technique of film photography, including both the shooting and development of the film. The cinematography could also be referred as the film director’s main visual collaborator. Cinematography is an art form in the field of flimflamming.
Although the exposing of images on light-sensitive elements dates to the early 19th century, motion pictures demanded a new form of photography and a new aesthetic. The Technology Use In Flimflamming Sleeping Beauty(1959) In making of sleeping Beauty film, animation tech oenology was used by the film producer. One of technology used in this animation film was animation Amerada. An animation camera manufactured by Crass, Berlin, in 1957. Animation camera. A type of rostrum camera, is a movie camera specially adapted for frame by-frame shooting animation or stop motion.
It consists of a camera body with lens and film magazines, a stand that allows the camera to be raised and lowered, and a table, often with both top and underneath lighting. The artwork to be photographed is placed on this table. Walt Disney film Sleeping Beauty is an example of this new technology. The animation was so bright and divine, a more realistic, geometric design, style of the animation. The background and layouts are colorful, stylized, round and angular at the same time. Other technology was used in this film animation was computer animation.
Computer animation or CGI animation is the process used for generating animated images by using computer graphics. The more general term computer- generated imagery encompasses both static scenes and dynamic images, while computer animation only refers to moving images. To create the illusion of movement , an image is displayed on the computer monitor and repeatedly replaced by a new image that is similar to it, but advanced lightly in time(usually at a rate of 24 or 30 frames/second). This technique is identical to how the illusion of movement is achieved with television and motion pictures.
The movements smooth, the artistry unbelievably high quality, rich textures backgrounds and brilliant animation. Technology-is a color motion picture process invented in 1 916 and then improved over several-decades. Technology became known and celebrated for its saturated levels of color, and was initially most commonly used for filming musicals such as The Wizard of Oz and Singing’ in the Rain, costume pictures such as The Adventures of Robin Hood and Joan of Arc, and animated films such as The Sleeping Beauty,Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Fantasia.
Super technician 70 . Sleeping Beauty was the first animated film to be photographed in the Super Technician 70 widespread. It had never been used for an animated feature. The film was presented in Super Technician 70 and 6- channel stereophonic sound in first -run engagements. The technician screen showcases to full- effect of the animation film of sleeping beauty. Maleficent(2014) In making of Maleficent 2014 film, live action was fully used by all the actors/ actresses in making this film success.
The animation technology also even pesticides and better was used by the film producer . In film, theatre and video action” refers to work that are acted out by human actors, as opposed to by animations. As it is norm, the term is usually superfluous, but it makes an important distinction in situations in which one might normally expect animation, It also considered to be live- action , provided that stop- motion is not used to animate them. Live action also means – movies are indeed done with human actors.
Is when people make a movie. (with real live actors/humans playing it). The story line plot is usually taken from a cartoon or anima. It isn’t necessarily on live. Example: Hannah Montana show, jack n Cody show, an etc. Camera : Air Alex plus is a technology that was used in this film. It is a style digital motion picture camera system made by Air first introduced in April 2010. The camera is designed for use in high budget feature films, television shows, and commercials.
Is the most versatile and flexible of the ALEX EXT camera range, and thus a true allured. Full- spectrum neutral density(FUSS) filters available from UNDO. 3 to 2. 4 Camera Air Alex Studio : featuring a quiet, adjustable mirror shuttering an optical viewfinder that provides a real-time, high contrast image with true colors. Additionally, the ALEX EXT Studio also has an internal motorized ND filter and a Dined license. The Studio is a direct response to cinematographers requests for a camera that perfectly combines cutting edge digital image-making with traditional elements of the film cameras they have known and trusted for generations.
It has in- camera AIRWAY recording, a 4:3 Super 35 sensor, Open Gate sensor mode, integrated CDC capture, OLDS PL mount, included anamorphic De squeeze and high speed licenses as well as a new , super silent fan. Characteristics: Optical viewfinder Zero delay,artifact-free,natural motion portrayal Bright and sharp full color image Accurate color fidelity and white balance Best way to judge focus Easy on the eye Works without power Characteristics: Rotating mirror shutter Film like motion portrayal No rolling shutter artifacts Internal motorized ND filter(AND. ) Built in remote control features Real time wired or wireless remote control of lens and camera Plug and play with AIR Wireless Remote System(WARS) Compatible with commotion civilization lens control systems Additional outputs A second MOON OUT (l . 5TH-OSDL) Characteristics : Electronic horizon in electronic viewfinder(optional) and metadata Lens synchronization for AD Built in tilt and roll sensors Cinematographic process: AIRWAY(2. K) (source format) Airway data produced from an AIR ALEX can be considered a digital erosion Of camera negative.
It delivers uncompressed image quality and provides the highest achievable resolution, the most postposition flexibility and raw data archiving. AIRWAY is the only format that retains the camera’s natural color response and great exposure latitude as uncompressed sensor data. With the introduction of ALEX EXT series, AIRWAY data can be recorded directly in the camera, without the need for an external recorder, which makes using AIRWAY as your chosen format easier than ever before.
Like film negative ,AIRWAY data has to be developed- or rather processed- in order to convert the single channel image, which represents the raw Brayer pattern sensor readout, into a color image suitable for normal viewing. The originally recorded raw data remains pristine, always providing the flexibility to go back and refine the results. This makes AIRWAY the perfect format for digital cinematography and high quality visual effects production. Computer-generated imagery Computer-generated imagery (CGI) is the application of the field of computer graphics (or more specifically, AD computer graphics) to special effects.
CGI is used in films, television programs and commercials, and in printed media. CGI is used for visual effects because the quality is often higher and effects are more controllable than other more physically based processes, such as constructing miniatures for effects shots or hiring extras for crowd scenes, and because it allows the creation of images that would not be feasible using any other tech oenology. For example, the art direction and cinematography are beautiful. The fairy land scenes resemble a pre Raphael painting.
The castle was a bit generic CGI. 3. 0 The Differences between Disney films, Previously And Currently. The Meaning of Love Sleeping Beauty( 1959) In the animated film of Sleeping Beauty, the symbols and moral are more towards a relationship love between a prince and a princess. This is showed when Aurora celebrated her sixteenth birthday, the three fairies ask Aurora to gather berries in the forest so they can prepare a surprise party for her. While singing in the forest , Aurora attracts the attention Of prince Phillip, now a handsome young man.
They instantly fall in love. When Maleficent magically lures Aurora into touching an enchanted spinning wheel. Aurora pricks her finger ,completing the curse. Aurora will fall into a death-like sleep from which he can only be awakened by true love kiss. Phillip awakens Aurora with a kiss, breaking the spell and wakes everyone in the place. Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip live happily ever after. Not only Sleeping Beauty film, Snow white and The Seven Dwarfs, The Cinderella, Aladdin, and etc.
All these animated film tells audience a stories about a meaning of love between a man and woman and tells that emotional feeling and yes, true love does exist in the way we expected it to be. The movie provides a great twist on the tale of Sleeping Beauty, told in full from Maleficent s point of view. Beneath the dark exterior, there is kindness thin Maleficent. But just like Maleficent’ s character, the movie wavers between magnificence and misery. We first saw Maleficent as a young fairy with radiant beauty and a pure heart.
Now we can see that Disney is trying to show through Maleficent that “love” itself Can be truly a powerful force, whether between family, a significant other, and etc. The meaning of love In this century of movie making has been seen as huge and large love. For example love towards parents, family, siblings, friends and society. In this film, it is showed when maleficent paid a visit to cast a spell on baby Princess Aurora. A spell which can only be broken by the kiss of true love. King Stefan sends Princess Aurora in a hidden cottage to protect her from the spell, where she was kept safe by the three fairies.
Since the fairies are hopeless in taking care of the baby, Maleficent turned out to be the fairy godmother. She cared for Princess Aurora from a distance. The grace and goodness of Princess Aurora made maleficent’ s tortured heart begins to thaw. The theme Disney is trying to show lately is that true love is not always romantic love- it can be the love between family, motherly love(as the case in Maleficent) etc. Love is not vague, emotional feeling. And yes, true love exists but not in the traditional way we expected it to be.
In this movie, I feel witness the triumph of love over hate and saw that true love exists in the love between a mother and a daughter( or in this case, the godmother). Other example movies that view love as universal element is an animated film “Frozen”. In Frozen the moral of the stories is more to shows love between family (Siblings)- Else and Anna (Sisters). Characters(Sleeping Beauty & Maleficent) Aurora – is the princess of a fictionally English kingdom set in the 14th entry and the only daughter of King Stefan and Queen Lea.
At her birth , the two of three good fairies predicted great beauty and singing voice. However, on that day, she was also cursed by the evil and jealous fairy Maleficent, who foretold that on her sixteenth birthday, she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel’s spindle and die. The third remaining good fairy then altered the curse so that when pricked with the spindle, she would only fall into a deep slumber from which she would only be awakened by the romantic kiss of Prince Phillip to whom she was betrothed at birth.
Ell Fanning is sweet and picture perfect for the role of Aurora and Breton Theists plays her prince. Maleficent- is a fictional character from Walt Disney 1 959 film Sleeping Beauty, and an official Disney Villain. She is the (self-proclaimed) Mistress of All Evil, who , after not being invited to a royal christening, curses the infant Princess Aurora to “prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die” before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday. Maleficent is the primary protagonist in the 2014 live- action film of the same name, portrayed by Angelina Joliet.
Prince Philip – was the first Disney prince to be given a proper name and a developed character. He is the love interest of Princess Aurora and the leading male character of Disney 1 959 film Sleeping Beauty. Known to be brave and heroic. He appears to be easygoing. At times, he is able to subtly persuade people to do as he Wants. Example include Phillip bribing his horse with food so that he could find the source of the singing he heard, and manipulating his father into agreeing that he should marry the girl he loves rather than the princess he is betroth red.
