In this paper, I will look at choice theories and how they relate to crime and a little about common models in how society determines which acts are considered to be criminal, and how these are impacted by choice theories of crime. A choice theory is the evaluation on offenses caused by a criminal due to the consequences of conscious choices. It is also known as the rational choice theory. According to this theory, criminals want to disobey the laws when he or she believes that the price of doing so does not overshadow the profit.

In fact choice theory has an inner behavior to our life and that it is hereditary titivated by five desires: freedom, ability, love, survival, and responsibility. The choice theory also has 10 Axioms that are based on a therapy method that is all about serving customers taught to formulate excellent choices. Some of the axioms are: behaviors that he or she choose but mainly those he or she act on, one that he or she can control, relationships long term and short term, behavior is made up of four mechanism- physiology, feeling, acting and thinking, and all behaviors are divided into verbs.

Everyone as a choice in life whether if he or she decides to eat at the all or go carjacking it is up to him or her to decide whatever they want to do. When a person decides on two or more things that is considered a choice. The choices a person makes in life can either change them in a positive or negative way. For every action, there is a reaction. The bulk of offenders do not recognize the cost until he or she is facing a Judge who will make a decision on his or her future.

Depending on the crime, particularly drug cases, offenders think that he or she will be slapped with probation or a fine and back to the streets they go. He or she continues to deal with rugs until getting caught and that is when they realize he or she will be going to Jail. Study shows that there is a reason why criminals commit crimes and they go on to explain their actions. However, there is no excuse for his or her action but there is an explanation behind it. When it comes to a criminal act a person makes his or her decisions so therefore he or she will get a certain punishment.

The punishment depends of the severity of the crime. The theory claim that crime avoidance or the slightest crime decrease can be achieved throughout a policy with the intention of encouraging a criminal to separate from criminal behavior, interrupt his or her events, or keep away from a meticulous objective. Strategies that are applicable to this standpoint include the following: legal actions, neighborhood watch program, self-defense and target classes Just to name a few. In conclusion of this assignment one needs to make better choices in life and ATA away from any type of criminal actives to avoid faces a Judge.

That’s why as a parent we need to train up our children in which the way he or she should go and when they are grown he or she will not part.
