Conflict – Analysis Conflicts are the difficult challenges that we must overcome in order to grow as people. Nothing shows conflict quite like Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. With its themes like love and hate, light and dark and life and death it is a perfect example of conflict. Love and hate are each other’s opposites, love being to show deep compassion and hate being to show intense dislike. The love in this story is shown through Romeo and Juliet with their forbidden romance.
