As a young man, Ovid’s writing filled Shakespeare’s mind with images of violence and romance. As Shakespeare aged, he viewed himself as a poet. William wrote Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth, two very diverse pieces of literature that use blood and fate. Today, our society still has blood and fate. For example, people bloody murders and donate blood.

Also, some people today still believe that fate controls love and death. William Shakespeare uses blood in Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth; yet he uses fate to symbolize star-crossed lovers in Romeo and Juliet, and heredity in Macbeth. For starters, Shakespeare uses blood similarly in Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. According to http://www. macmillandictionary. com/dictionary/american/blood, blood is the red liquid that flows around inside your body, the family, nation, or group that you belong to through your parents or grandparents, and is used as a way of referring to violence.

In Act IV Scene I, Friar Lawrence came up with a plan to get Romeo and Juliet together. Juliet was to take a potion that would knock her out for three hours. with the Friar Lawrence’s plan in action, Juliet had taken the potion that knocked her unconscious for three hours. Friar Lawrence sent Friar John to get a messenger to send a letter to Romeo notifying him of this plan. Romeo and Balthasar arrived at the churchyard, near the tomb of the Capulets.
