The Chorus also knows of the actor’s thoughts and moves but the actors have no knowledge of the chorus’s existence. The major conflict throughout the play is that Antigen and her sister, Semen.

Instead of being married Antigen is forced to sit in a prison tomb on her wedding day and wait to be sentenced to death. Antigen’s prison outfit is described as her wedding dress and her march to her prison cell is like she’s walking down the isle to be given her wedding vows her final breaths of air after hanging herself are her marriage to death.
