Muslims are individuals who embrace the religion Islam. An Arab citizen can be of any religious order including Jewish, Islam, and Christianity. The name Arab refers to immigrant from countries that are in the Arab world, which consist of twenty-two nations. Muslims on the other hand, can use almost any language in the world.

There were very many search results to answer the question “What are some of the changes the United States has made to policies concerning the treatment of Muslim and Arab members of society?. ” I did find a few sites that stated the Justice Department had proposed a change that would allow the FBI to investigate Americans without evidence on wrong doing. Hate crimes are almost always conceived from the lack of knowledge about individuals who are not understood or are different from the normal. People always fear what is different. To promote tolerance and reduce prejudice in towns and cities, we need to teach our children tolerance towards different cultures and beliefs. Knowledge is the key to all prejudice and racism. We can break the cycle of hate and live together in a more understanding and fearless world. Angela Stephens amstephens48@email. phoenix. edu Central Time Zone
