Team Ground Rules and Guidelines What are the general expectations for all members of the team? 1. ) Team member will share in the participation and collaborate together to finish team assignments 2. Good coordination, cooperation, availability and desire to work. 3. ) Each member should respect each other’s idea 4. ) Team member should strive to bring out the best in each member through encouragement and support. 5. ) Each member must know that they can depend on one another if a problem arises in order to complete an assignment. 6. ) To be available and to do each task to the best of their ability 7. All members of the group will put their best effort in completing task in a timely manner. 8. ) We will set deliverables in which the group will determine what we are looking to complete before each project. We will earn an A in this class. Expectations for Time Management and Involvement (Participation, communication with the team, accessibility, etc. ) 1) . Work together to ensure project completion and a certain degree of available time flexibility is expected from all team members. 2. ) Members are expected to respond as soon as possible 3).
All projects are expected to be completed efficiently, in a timely manner and with good quality. 4. ) Time is an important factor. We must coordinate and agree on how to divide the work, as we will communicate and when to deliver the work. 5. ) We will use alternative communication channels if needed. Ensuring Fair and Even Contribution and Collaboration What strategy will you use to ensure that all team members are contributing and collaborating appropriately? Describe the communication strategy you will use if a team member is not contributing and collaborating effectively. How will the team manage conflicts between team members? . ) Assign specific tasks to each member with due dates 2. ) Each one of us should get in touch with each other either by phone or e-mail. If a problem arises the team can discuss the problem and try to resolve the matter as a team or we can ask our professor’s opinion. 4. ) Making group work to time and date assigned. 5. ) Respecting the opinions of the members of the group. 6. ) Building trust among the group. 7. ) We will discuss what each member strong points are in the course and utilize them. Special Considerations What do you, as a team, agree will make this team experience different from past team experiences? 1. ) The most important thing as a group is to keep everyone informed and if a team member need help with ask team for assistance. 2. ) What will make things go better is that we are looking to be on time and precise in whatever we do. We want to excel and we are willing to go that extra mile to find success. 3. ) Be motivated at all times. Any dispute resolved as quickly as possible so that this does not affect the team.
