I somewhat agree with Nana’s statement that his survival was due to “luck” and “good fortune” but also maybe his religion or belief had something to do with his survival, luck definitely played a huge role for Nana’s survival but I doubt that fortune did as well, considering he wasn’t very wealthy himself. 8. Impact of violence can result for a person to experience fear for their rest of their lives, exposure to violence makes people highly sensitive to violence so they try to escape it as much as possible due to lack of control over their emotions after being distraught by war or any other violence. When Nana’s father was killed, his older brother had to take the responsibility and be the man of the house due to their father’s lose, unfortunately when Nana’s older rather Gorge Ala was also killed, Abdul Ala then had to take responsibility of the house.
