Church versus false doctrine 11/23/2014 of family have been overly active. In a recent news article from BBC, the highest- ranking priest from the Catholic Church has made some pretty controversial statements about homosexuality, and urges his cardinals to develop an acceptable view in regard of homosexuality. Since the early days of mankind, God established the family and since the family has been the oldest and the most powerful organization that has ever been in this earth.
Before there were any congregations, before there were the Vatican or any Popes, before there were any presidents or kings, God has established the family through the union between a man and woman. Among the myriad of things that are threatening this sacred institution, false doctrine can be at the top of the list, for it represents the silent spiritual killer that works its way from the inside.
It is in my opinion that those false doctrines and teachers are the ones the Lord was referring when He said, “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in he midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. ” Matthew 10:16 KAVA We are in the midst of wolves everyday, even in the midst of the Christian community, we must selective on the sermons we are receiving from our teachers and test their words with the Bible.
While the church has been called out of the current society norms to live a life of holy that reflect the majesty of our holy king, some are trying to convince their congregations to be more like the so-called modern age society. The Bishop of Rome Pope Francis) in his recent declaration to the media said that the homosexual community has much to offer the Christian community, and totally ignore the biblical point of view about the subject, and then went on to say whom he really is to Judge.
The Bishop of Rome was half right on his statement, at least the last part of it. Who is he really to think that his opinion surpass God’s rules? Some preachers, priests and pastors have adopted the same approach about homosexuality in a quest to increase their congregation’s capacity, those men have become more interested in the annuity of people who are listening to them instead of the quality of the sermons.
Some of them even went on to accuse those who are reticent from accepting their abomination point of view as bigot and close minded by pointing out that Jesus did not say anything about homosexual during His stay among us; however.
