Management styles are also divided In the main categories of autocratic, paternalistic, and democratic. Management Is universal because It Is critical to the successful operation of an organization. To know the different styles of managing a business and how do they differ between each other. Also if they have the same style and how they implement it in their business and also with their employees. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEMS What are the different styles In managing In business? OBJECTIVE The objective of this research Is to compare the management style of different food chains and to know the differences and similarity of different food chains. Autocratic- of, relating to, or being an autocracy; characteristic of or resembling an autocrat * Permissive- ranting or tending to grant permission; authority undertakes to supply needs or regulate conduct of those under its control in matters affecting them as individuals as well as in their relations to authority and to each other * Democratic- relating to, appealing to, or available to the broad masses of the people; favoring social equality Universal- including or covering all or a whole collectively or distributive without limit or exception; especially: available equitably to all members of a society, affirming or eying something of all members off class or of all values off variable * Critical- f, relating to, or being a turning point or especially important juncture ;a critical phase;: as (1): relating to or being the stage of a disease at which an abrupt change for better or worse may be expected RELATED LITERATURE An autocratic style of leadership is when a leader makes a decision alone.

The leader conveys the decision to staff and they have to work within the scope of that decision. Management can be described as Getting things done through people’. This means that there must be a manager to control and motivate Hess people or human resources. While there are many different styles of managers and management techniques the management theories are most important. Management theories describe certain behaviors that are renowned for achieving the goals of the business. The four main management theories are classical-scientific, behavioral, political and contingency. These all have various styles, outcomes and have many similarities and differences when put into practice in a business environment.

The Classical-Scientific theories of management developed in the late 19th and early 20th Century. Most of the workforce was inexperienced and uneducated so they had little managing experience. Democracy was not fully developed so as a result most owners and managers ruled with an iron hand’ and rarely consulted employees. Though from these roots many different management techniques and styles sprouted which would form the basis of management today. These include Hierarchical structure of organization, Division of Labor, and Autocratic and Authority styles of management. Hierarchical structure of organization is the tradition form of organizing a business.
